Please note this is a free event for all spectators
The boats will parade upriver from Fawley Meadows, past Phyllis Court and a colourfully lit Boathouse Row to Leander Club before going down river and turning again for a second circuit.
The prime location to view all will be on the public towpath downstream to Phyllis Court Club.
For safety reasons, we would discourage spectators from viewing the Parade from Henley Bridge.
- The prestigious Leander Club will be opening their doors once again to the public for FREE VIEWING, food and drinks for sale from 7pm.
- A panel of judges will judge the boats from Leander Club, starting at 7.30 pm.
- Prize giving will be at Leander at approximately 9 PM.
- There is no parking available by the river.
- Recommended parking located in Greys Road Car park and Waitrose car park.
- It is also recommended to bring a torch due to the towpath being unlit.
- Please be warned that there may be unregistered boats who join the Parade who may use fireworks.
- We would suggest that dogs be left at home and young children’s ears have protection.

Where can you watch?
The towpath from Leander downstream to Phyllis Court. New Street from the bridge to the slipway. Due
to safety reasons, we would discourage viewing from the bridge. Viewing is free. Charity Collectors will be on site if you would like to donate.

Is there a slipway?
Yes, it's where the one way New Street meets the river. Trailer parking might be available on request.
Is there free mooring available?
There is a small public mooring area just above the bridge, next to the 'Angel on the Bridge' Pub.
Will there be food and drink available?
Both the Leander Club's deck bar and clubhouse bar will be open to the public from 6pm. In addition, there will be food vendors available in the club's garden.
Can you spectate from a boat?
If you have the required navigation lights you are free to watch, but we would ask that you don’t join the parade itself. Mooring fees will be charged if you stop to watch. Entrants have the mooring fees included.

The Parade is organised by a privately owned UK limited company.
The Company’s only activity is to organise an ‘Illuminated Boat Parade’ at Henley on Thames.
All costs of the first year were covered by a donation from the shareholders.
No fees or dividends are being paid to the directors or shareholders.
The event is organised specifically as a fund-raising event for charity.
All nett fees for entries collected via the website and on the night and any charitable donations at the event will be donated to the two chosen charities less the mooring fees that will be passed on to Hobbs Limited as collection agents for the mooring’s owners.
The organisers would welcome any sponsorship enquiries.
The directors reserve the right to recoup some costs as the event grows in size.
